At Sierra Nevada Equiscope, we understand that no two bodies are the same, and therefore, no two healing journeys can be the same. As your certified technician, I prioritize your health and well-being, and work with you to design a tailored session that addresses your specific complaints. Utilizing the latest techniques and tools designed by Thorp Institute of Integrated Medicine, we offer targeted and systemic protocols that support your body's natural healing abilities.
What to Expect
-
Pain and range of motion improvement within the first session.
-
Improvement with each session that is increased when visits are cumulative or in a row.
-
It is possible to experience a delayed response, with increased improvement in pain and range of motion, within the following 8-24 hours.
-
For optimal results, we recommend receiving a minimum of 3-12 sessions to maximize the body's ability to heal and retrain the neural pathways.
-
In rare cases, detox-like symptoms or soreness the following day may occur. Do not be alarmed as previously discharged cells have been awoken and began to function again.
-
To enhance results and reduce possible side effects, be sure to hydrate before and after your session.
How to Prepare for Your Session
-
It is vital to maintain proper hydration and electrolyte balance prior to and after your session to maximize results and reduce possible side effects. 1/4 tsp of sea salt added to water with or without a lemon is a simple, yet effective source of electrolyte.
-
Do not shave the area of concern within 24 hours of your session as the electrical conduction may irritate freshly shaven skin.
-
To maximize your results, we ask that you do not submerge yourself in water for 6 hours following your visit. You may shower or bathe prior to your visit.
-
Pregnant women, individuals with pacemakers or electrical implants, and individuals on multiple medications will need to consult with their physician for clearance of Equiscope therapy.
-
Wear loose and comfortable clothing to ensure access to the area of concern if applicable. Gowns may also be provided if necessary.
Maximize Your Healing
-
Equiscope is powerful device, though results are maximized when individuals make an effort to lead a healthy lifestyle.
-
It is crucial that adequate rest, nutrition, and exercise are important factors that contribute to your results and overall well-being.
-
Proper hydration and electrolyte intake is vital as plain water alone will flush your body of minerals that need to be supplied daily.
-
Additionally, we believe that having a positive mental outlook can significantly improve your quality of life and even change medical outcomes.

How is Equiscope Different than other Modalities?
There are several differences between Equiscope and other modalities that make Equiscope the superior choice of microcurrent technology available today. Click here to see how Equiscope compares to other modalities.
What is the difference between Acuscope/Myopulse and Equiscope?
Did you know that Veterinary studies show that 1 Equiscope session is equivalent to 3 Acuscope/Myopulse sessions?
Equiscope is made by the same developers as Acuscope/Myopulse. As the microcurrent technology advanced, small improvements were made to the Acuscope/Myopulse technology which resulted in the development of the newest model; Equiscope! The improvements made were;
1) Additional computers added to the machine for more advanced processing, allowing for more precise and sophisticated use of the microcurrent.
2) Bigger battery pack allowing for stronger and more powerful waveforms being delivered to this tissue. This also allows for more power to the plates and probes when focusing on multiple areas in one session.
3) The combining of both Acuscope and Myopulse into one machine allowing for easier maneuvering in between protocols, speeding up session time overall.
Due to these improvements, it has been show here that 1 Equsicope session is equivalent to 3 Acuscope/Myopulse sessions, proving that Equiscope is superior in facilitating cellular healing at a faster pace.
